September: What's Happening!

Great things are going on this month as we prepare to being our Christmas season in early October! This is a beautiful time of year, and as the weather begins to cool down (a little) its a great time to take the family and children outside for a portrait session!

This month only, we're offering 1/2 priced sessions on a brand-new location here at our studio! (Regular $75, Half $37.50) The gorgeous field across the street makes for lovely, vintage portraits and we have lots of new props to tote along! Its perfect for family, or children, and don't forget to bring the family pet! Appointments will be limited, so call today to schedule!

Crider's Christmas Extravaganza and Open House will be taking place at our studio, September 16th from 3p-6:30p.  Come out and bring the kids, Santa will be stopping by to share milk and cookies and tell you about his brand new set by playing The Polar Express!  Also, we'll be having a balloon artist, creating awesome balloon animals! There will be great deals and specials, portrait frames and table top frames will be sold at close out prices! You don't want to miss this!

 All aboard the North Pole Express!  Bring the children in their finest Christmas attire or simply ready for bed in the Christmas pajamas, anything is perfect for this magical setting!  Complete with loading dock, the children will wait for Santa, the conductor, on a beautiful park bench.  Santa will have their 'golden ticket' and share with them many stories of where their ride will take them!  This is a brand new set this year for Crider's Photography and so far we have had a great response, and are certain it will be a huge success.  Book early, and receive 50% off your session fee when you mention the Crider's Photography blog.

Appalachian State University Family Portraits

     We're packing our bags and heading for the hills - as fall sets on the beautiful North Carolina Appalachian Mountains, Crider's will be there to capture your family!  Appalachian State Alum are encouraged to gather up the Mountaineer family and join us on campus for a wonderful family session in a place that's near and dear to your heart and ours!  School will be in session and football season will be in full swing, so appointments are limited!  Not sure what to wear?  Break out the school jerseys and colors, or simply don a pair of khakis and a polo - its up to you!  We're looking for a great turn out and want everyone to participate!  Don't miss out - Call us today!

Angels of Faith: Our Inspiration

Check out this great video for more information about why we've created our new charity, "Angels of Faith."  Please help us reach our goal of $25,000.  Read below for way that you can help!

You can participate in the "Angels of Faith" charity campaign in any of the following ways:

1.  Schedule your child to be photographed as an angel for the 2011 "Angels of Faith" calendar.  The portrait dates are July 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd and August 19th-21st, 2010.  Our regular session fee is $50.  For this special charity event, we ask that you consider making a $50 or more donation to Easter Seals United Cerebral Palsy in lieu of the studio session fee.

2.  Go online during the month of September to vote for your favorite angel.  With each vote, you donate $1 to Easter Seals UCP.  You can vote as many times as you would like!

3.   Order the 2011 "Angels of Faith" calendar, featuring the angels from the September voting period.  Easter Seals UCP receives proceeds from the sale of each calendar. You can order calendars, by calling the studio at (704) 873-3982.  They make great gifts for everyone.

4.   Make a donation to Easter Seals United Cerebral Palsy
